This is the first time I have ever blogged so I am just a newbie. I would appreciate any comments on how to do this. My blog is mainly about the Frates family genealogy. I know very little about this part of the family and I am hungry to learn all that I can.

You must be Mary. From Vermont? Best way to get into the blog is exactly what you are doing---just start fiddling with it. I think the "help" button can be useful but mostly I just hack away. Good luck!
Cindy is doing amazing work on the Frates line. I work on it in spurts. Life has a way of getting in the way of genealogy!! I loved meeting Cindy and talking, talking, talking with her.

This is your cousin Barbara Engstrand Harvey. Unlike Peggy, I do remember Cindy, Jim and you very well. You came many time to our duplex in Tracy, and my Dad,your Uncle Ben, would load all of us small enought to fit, in the wheelbarrow, and push us around the block?
I've made conact with Cindy and Jim over the years, and was hoping you may have been able to come to Your Aunt Madalines funeral. I know it difficult when your so far away.
You must know that no adult has a 'favorite', after you all had gone home. My Dad would break into a little grin, and whisperto my mother, "that little red head is really something special."
